This is my go to when working with College Athletes.

Working in sports ministry often we turn to books that have a focus on sports. While I appreciate all the parallels that sports gives us in order to share the good news of Christ and encourage others in their walk with the Lord, many of the athletes that we are pouring into are reaching the climax of their careers. This book gives our athletes a basis to understand what it means to be a believer as they transition to their next chapter of life, whatever that may be. I appreciate David's vision of showing the reader how to view the world through the lens of the God's heart for the nations. This is greatly helped me to show my athletes that their lives and identity is not based on their worth as an athlete, but on being found in the Son and glorifying him in every situation they find themselves in.
