Preparing for Baptism

A personal diary

Quantity

Being baptised as a believer is a very significant event. So it is vital that the meaning of baptism is clearly understood and the kind of life that baptism commits us to is properly appreciated. Preparing for Baptism: A Personal Diary is designed to help those preparing for baptism to approach their baptism with understanding and commitment. This little book may be used by individuals or in baptismal classes. It will help church leaders to prepare candidates for baptism, and it may also be used as a 'refresher course' for believers who have already been baptised.

A heart-warming study!

A very thorough and Biblical workbook on this often under-estimated subject. Although subtitled ‘A Personal Diary’ it is not the author’s personal account but a linear analysis for any reader. I see the readership divided into three groups: (1) those born-again believers who are considering Baptism, (2) That group of believers who may have accepted infant ‘sprinkling’ as an acceptable interpretation of ‘baptism’, and (3) those older and Baptised Christians who will enjoy reflecting on the depths of teaching found within the Bible on this often forgotten subject. A most helpful, heart-warming and challenging study for individual readers or for group teaching.
